Amanda was born in Santiago, Chile and raised in Voorhees, New Jersey. Her now 96 year old artist grandfather put a paint brush in her hand at a very young age which began her passion for art. She took art lessons outside of school to improve her skills. Amanda attended Moore College of Art & Design where she majored in Illustration. She works in a variety of mediums, but acrylic and digital paint has been her focus as of late.
Since graduating from Moore, Amanda has been doing freelance work. These projects include baby announcements, save the dates, pet portrait commissions, etc. She also worked for a screen printing business, where she learned new skills on color separating and really used her graphic design skills to produce work her clients were looking for.
Amanda currently lives in Annapolis, Maryland. She loves the artistic vibe the city gives off. She enjoys walks with her champagne Labrador puppy when she’s not painting. She is an avid fan of football and loves her Eagles, which presents a fun rivalry when they are playing against her fiancé’s favorite team, the Giants. She hopes to build a following all over the world with her artwork.
